synopsis/notes: I was writing an ayakashi AU in which Midorima and Takao embark on the ayakashi equivalent of a road trip and shenanigans happen. This is not that AU; this was a thing written in a fit of ship feels in a notebook and subsequently forgotten that can be summed up as “the one in which Midorima is a fox with multiple tails and only one name and Takao Kazunari suffers from old age.” warnings for character death, invitations in regards to eating people, and reference without irony to Romeo and Juliet.—
“You came back!” Kazunari says, words gleeful in spite of the feebleness of his voice.
